✦ Kimono Description
The Amihan's Grace Kimono is a modern fusion piece that draws inspiration from traditional Filipino tribal patterns and nature's ethereal beauty. The kimono’s name, "Amihan's Grace," is inspired by Amihan, the gentle northeast wind in Filipino mythology, symbolizing calmness, grace, and a subtle, guiding force. Just like the soft breeze, this kimono embodies both strength and elegance, channeling the harmonious flow of nature.
The fabric showcases vividly woven stripes with intricate geometric patterns, reminiscent of traditional Filipino textile designs often seen in the works of the T'boli or Kalinga tribes. The patterns symbolize nature's balance, unity, and protection, merging tradition with a contemporary touch. The cut is traditional yet modern, featuring wider sleeves and a structured belt, allowing for both comfort and sophistication. The bold, deep green accents at the cuffs, collar, and belt contrast harmoniously with the vibrant body, making it suitable for both casual and formal settings.
