Welcome to Yugto

We’re Yugto, a small family-rooted fashion brand from Atimonan, Quezon, Philippines. Our name means chapter in Filipino—and that’s exactly how we see what we’re building: not just clothes, but new chapters of life, growth, and transformation.

Our story began generations ago, and you can read more about it below.

But today, Yugto is less about looking back and more about living in the present—learning, creating, and growing together.

Our Story

Our Atelier, Our World

All of our kimonos are made in our own in-house atelier in Atimonan. It’s not a big factory, but a home filled with fabrics, sewing machines, laughter, and even the smell of home-cooked meals (in the kitchen only ;).

Uniqueness by Design

We’ve sourced over 400 different fabrics—from Manila’s bustling markets to the weaving communities of the Cordilleras. These fabrics surround us daily, stacked high in the atelier, inspiring us to create new designs.

Most of our kimonos are designed as one-of-a-kind pieces—but some are made in very low batches of 2–5 pieces, and only a select few go beyond that (never more than 15). This way, every garment still feels rare and personal, while allowing us to share certain beloved designs with a handful of others.

More Than Just Kimonos

At Yugto, we’re not chasing fast wins or mass production. We’re building slowly, carefully—learning every step of the way. From designing, to sewing, to even doing our own photoshoots in-house, we’re teaching ourselves, making mistakes, laughing about them, and getting better together.

This journey of learning is just as important to us as the finished kimono. Because when you wear one of our pieces, you’re not just wearing a garment—you’re wearing a part of our story, our growth, and our shared dreams.

A Tight-Knit Family

We like to say Yugto is more than a brand—it’s a family. Not only because we’re led by Brian and his mom Rose, but because everyone who works with us—our sewers, artisans, models, and supporters—are part of what we call the Yugto Family.

We don’t just work side by side; we share meals, celebrate birthdays, and support each other through life. This closeness shapes everything we do—it’s why every kimono we make feels personal, because it truly is.

We promise every Yugto kimono is:

Unique or very limited - most are one-of-a-kind, with others made only in tiny batches.

Meticulously crafted - from the first cut to the final stitch.

Made with heart - in a space where creativity and care come first.

More than clothing, Yugto is an invitation to slow down, to embrace change, and to step into a new chapter of your own.

Welcome to our journey.
