✦ Why you'll love this
✦ Kimono Description
The one-of-a-kind Oso Berlin Kimono, inspired by the ferociousness of Berlin's underground scene, the city's symbolic bear and a real-life bear encounter, is a truly powerful kimono, breaking any limits in self-expression and style.
This bold, black kimono combines luxury with a fierce edge. It is accented with rich faux fur detailing along the shoulders, sleeves, and back, creating a sense of warmth and dramatic texture. The front pockets are also lined with fur, providing a cohesive and luxurious feel.
The neck and sleeves feature hand-woven piping bias sourced from Sagada, which adds a subtle, refined finish and a touch of cultural authenticity. Two black straps sit below the shoulders, each free-hand embroidered with bear heads on the edges, symbolizing strength and courage.
Each strap includes three metal spikes resembling animal claws, adding a fierce, standout element that transforms this kimono into a statement of power and resilience.
The upper back is fitted with a grommet on each side, for breathability, design and more fierceness.
Oso means "Bear" in Tagalog.

Filipino Hand-Woven Fabric from Sagada:
Sagada, a serene mountain town in the Philippines' Cordillera region, is renowned for its rich indigenous culture and traditional weaving heritage. The art of weaving in Sagada is a centuries-old practice, passed down through generations. Each weave tells a story, embodying the spirit of the highlands, where patterns often symbolize the harmonious relationship between people, nature, and the ancestral spirits.
We sourced the material personally from the weavers at "Sagada Weaving".
