Why does it matter?

Every Yugto kimono is born in our own atelier, not in a factory. This means we don’t just design—we live and breathe our creations every day, surrounded by the fabrics, the stories, and the people who make them. By keeping everything in-house, we ensure every stitch meets our standards, and every kimono carries the spirit of our family. Nothing is rushed, nothing is disconnected. Its truly just slow, thoughtful fashion crafted with care.

And it matters where our atelier is. Atimonan is a small coastal town in Quezon Province, far from industrial fashion hubs. By being here, we’re not only protecting the integrity of our work but also sustaining local livelihoods. Our sewers don’t have to leave their families to work in distant factories, they can create, earn, and thrive right here at home. Each kimono supports a community, keeps traditions alive, and transforms a small-town story into something beautiful you can wear.

What is the return policy?

We have the EU 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

1. Returns for orders from Germany and items above 150€ are free and will be paid by Yugto.

2. For items above 150€ and outside of Germany, we will cover the delivery fee only to the same amount as for an order in Germany. 

3. For items under 150€, we will deduct the delivery price from the refund by the listed amount provided by DHL, in the case that we handle the return.

At Yugto, every kimono is designed as a unique story, crafted in small batches or as a one-of-a-kind piece. We don’t mass-produce, because to us, fashion should feel personal, not generic.

Each design is born from inspiration in the moment, shaped by the imagination of our family and artisans, and never simply copied. When you wear a Yugto kimono, you’re not wearing what thousands of others own - you’re wearing something that exists only once, just for you.


This approach also means we honor the essence of slow fashion. By producing only in small quantities, we reduce waste, value every piece of fabric, and give time and attention to each creation. It’s not about chasing trends—it’s about timeless artistry that grows more meaningful the longer you wear it. Where are the Yugto kimonos manufactured?

All our kimonos are manufactured and designed, completely in-house, in the small coastal village of Atimonan, located in the Philippines.

We are proud to say our production is completely local, employing only local artisans and even models.

From where do you source your materials?

We personally hunt for our fabrics in the chaotic markets of Manila, Philippines. Where we take our time to find hidden gems, feeling each fabric in our own hands and ensuring the quality meets our standards.

Our hand-woven Filipino fabrics are sourced as direct as possible, mostly from the weavers themselves - sometimes even from their living rooms in remote locations!

When will I get my order?

We will do our best to send your new Yugto kimono out one business day after your order.

We ship with DHL Internationally.
How much does shipping cost?

We offer free deliveries within Germany and the European Union. International shipping, outside the European Union is 30€ per order.
